Consecration Ceremony 17 April 2008
MDCwas founded and registered officially on 5 May 2007. It functioned without a physical centre until a suitable location was found in March 2008. After a month of renovations and with the assistance of generous devotees, hardworking individuals and the blessings of the Triple Gem, we successfully held our Buddha Consecration Ceremony on 17 April 2008.
Opening Ceremony 21 March 2008
A week later on 21 March 2008, the crowds spilled out of our tiny centre into the street outside, as many came to witness the grand opening ceremony of MDC.Nine guest Venerables blessed the occassion with the chanting of protective verses in the one hour long ceremony.
